Be Moved to Lead Q & A

Be Moved To Lead Q & A - 200 Hour Teacher Training begins on September 29th. Be Moved To Lead is a Yoga teaching and leadership training. If you’ve thought about teaching yoga at your place of work, church, or in the community as a Be Moved Teacher and Community Ambassador please consider coming to our Q & A session! Anita will answer all of your questions! We need new teachers to teach in-studio and out in the community! This is a 200 hr Yoga Alliance Certified Teacher Training. We hope you’ll teach with Be Moved, but if you move or have other plans, this certification allows you the opportunity to teach wherever you go!

Gentle Yoga

Gentle Yoga - Gentle Yoga is slow paced class in a warm (heat down, not hot, doors open) environment. Gentle Yoga is loving and kindhearted way to care for yourself, your muscles & joints, as well as your mental health. There is a safe core focus throughout and ends in meditation. We do not practice down dog, or chatturanga (high/low planks). If you have any further questions reach out to Anita.

Parent and Infant Yoga

Parent & Infant Yoga - Anita Trent, mother of four children, non-practicing certified Doula, and former Lead Teacher at Montessori School of Greater Lafayette as well as the Coordinator of Lafayette’s Early Head Start (infants & toddlers) including the Pregnant Woman’s Program invites you to join her for a 6 week Parent & Infant Yoga Class on Thursday mornings at 11am, duration 45/50 minutes. The yoga class for parents will be 30/35 minutes in duration. We will take the last 10/15 min to connect while it’s the babies turn to be the focus on the mat. A few important points to be aware of;

  1. This class is for one or both parents and their infant or infants in the case of twins or multiples. 

  2. This class is for mothers who have been cleared for normal activity at the 6 week postpartum health visit. 

  3. This class is for infants 6 weeks up until walking practice begins. 

  4. The yoga instruction will be more gentle in nature and will include a core focus each week. 

  5. Your infants will be right next to you on your mat or she/he can be in or on anything that makes them/they most comfortable. Nursing mothers may do so anytime throughout class or before and after.
